]]>

We're excited to share our latest collection of beautiful e-commerce, portfolio, and agency websites made with Visual Composer. It never ceases to amaze us how completely unique creations come out of using the same features, just in different ways.

We hope these showcases reveal new ways how web creators utilize Visual Composer and serve as an inspiration for your next project.

Polygraphic agency website design

Polygraphic

Polygraphic is a Danish agency, that offers a combination of creative, strategic, and political communication and design. In their own words, they create purposeful and meaningful communication that makes a difference.

What we love about this example, aside from the bold colors and minimalistic design, is the layout. Check out their beautiful cases and customers pages, and learn how beautiful media and simple row and column arrangements can make all the difference.

This reminds us, did you check out our latest Visual Composer design hacks? Now, you can easily resize rows and add columns without batting an eye.

Nora Schott portfolio website design

Nora Shcott

Next up, we have Nora Shcott. A German choreographer and dancer with her mesmerizing portfolio website.

Upon arrival, you are greeted with a color-changing hero section. You too can use the advanced Visual Composer design options to add background images, slideshows, gradient colors, and videos to liven up any section of your website.

Another thing that we absolutely head over heels about is the side buttons and the menu bar, that follow you along as you scroll down to the bottom of the page. To make sure your website navigation is always within a hand's reach (or a drag of a mouse), enable row stickiness.

Senior By Design interior design website design

Senior By Design

Senior By Design is a company that takes pride in creating luxurious, soul-warming interiors, clearly tailored to the unique characteristics of each community they serve.

As they should (pride themselves) because the words from their satisfied customers speak for themselves. If you have an online business of any kind, it's essential to add testimonials to your site. Fortunately, the Visual Composer Hub offers multiple elements of that sort, to help you advertise your endorsements as well (hey, no shame in that).

Alongside other effects, their video background is what makes their content even more engaging and fun for the visitors. This, actually, is one of the current web design trends of 2022. Don't hesitate to jump on this bandwagon, because it is surely one that won't go out of style any time soon.

iDesing website design

iDESIGN

iDESIGN or Issue Design Corporation Co. provides web design, graphic design, and all kinds of publishing services. The way they communicate their business values is beautiful — in a world and time of evidently approaching climate crisis and news full of strained situations and bad incidents, they intend that their website can be a way to attain all the relaxation you need.

One of the most important parts of this example is that it has applied some of the best responsive web design practices. A key factor in the modern online world, considering more than half of the worldwide website traffic is generated by mobile devices.

A nice touch, and an easy way to make the user experience even more enjoyable, is by adding simple parallax effects to your background images (here used in 'fixed' style).

Minimal Biżu jewellery store website design

MinimalBiżu

MinimalBiżu is a Polish business, that creates original, hand-made jewellery, made out of semi-precious stones plated in 24-carat gold. This is one of the many good-looking e-commerce websites #MadeInVC.

A crucial part of any online store is the integration of WooCommerce — the number one e-commerce plugin for WordPress. Which in fact, works seamlessly with Visual Composer, as you can perfectly see in this example.

This website specimen creates a seamless shopping experience, by helping users move from page to page effortlessly. Creating a menu with product categories and filters helps users to easily sort and navigate through the website. This also increases the likelihood of sales, and your shoppers NOT leaving your store empty-handed.

Panos Care Parkinson's Network website design

PANOS

PANOS is a growing network of doctors, clinics, scientists, and organizations such as the German Parkinson's Association with special Parkinson's expertise. Their mission is to provide better care for Parkinson's patients and create nationwide equity in care.

One thing that's striking about this website's design, is the title in the hero section, which highlights parts of the text once when you drag your pointer across it. While Visual Composer is powerful on its own and doesn't require coding, it also allows you to add custom CSS and JavaScript for additional styling options.

This is yet another example of how simplicity works best. They have created a matching design putting thought into the smallest detail and each element throughout the page. By using the popular theme Twenty Twenty One as the base, and creating a WordPress child theme, they have changed the look of the parent's themes styling and added extra functionality to their website.

Conclusion

Whether you're just getting started with your first website or are already an experienced web creator, there's no need to worry when using Visual Composer. As long as you know what kind of site you want and have some basic ideas in mind you can start building.

The best part? According to Michael Bellina, our self-proclaimed biggest fan, Visual Composer allows him to work at least 30% faster and deliver a website to a client until lunchtime. All thanks to the highly-customizable elements, templates, and features it offers.

Stay tuned for more amazing showcases we have in store for you, and even more — yours could be in the next one!

Websites Made With Visual Composer 2022 Birthday Edition https://visualcomposer.com/blog/birthday-showcase/ https://visualcomposer.com/blog/birthday-showcase/#respond Mon, 16 May 2022 07:17:05 +0000 https://visualcomposer.com/?p=34752 In celebration of our 11th birthday, we have created a showcase with awesome portfolio, e-commerce, and business websites created in Visual Composer.

]]>

Over a decade ago, the Visual Composer brand was born.

Today, 11 years and 4 400 000 installations later we're here to celebrate our journey from creating the very first WordPress page builder to launching Visual Composer Website Builder - the next generation website builder.

And what better way to celebrate our birthday than to showcase some of the amazing websites our clients have created on Visual Composer? Without further ado, here are six inventive and artistic examples #MadeInVC.

The Free From The Kitchen Co. Website

The Free From Kitchen Co.

The Free From Kitchen Co. are chocolatiers that make a range of gluten, wheat, and dairy-free products that support sustainable farming. Visitors of the site can overview their products and recipes with the Basic Menu element available in the Visual Composer Hub.

Scrolling further down, this website shows how easy you can liven up the user experience by using simple parallax effects.

A small, but effective way they allow visitors to interact with their business is by incorporating the Social Profile Icons element. One of the many icon integrations that Visual Composer offers.

BUmédia Website made in Visual Composer

BUmédia

BUmédia is a communication strategy start-up, that displays the work of freelancer Boris Uzan. With expertise in branding, design, and UI/UX, Boris helps brands create and proclaim their visual identity online and in print media.

Like any other exceptional portfolio website, this one possesses all the essential elements: past projects, easily accessible contact information, and a list of big-name clients that attest to his credibility and attract potential clients.

Rest assured, if this motion design expert uses Visual Composer to create an unforgettable experience using simple components (Video Player for hero section, Fade In Animations for content, and other design options), you can too.

India FIlmt Project Website made in Visual Composer

India Film Project

India Film Project is the largest content festival held in Mumbai, India, that celebrates content creators from over 17 countries, and features different filmmaking, scriptwriting, music, and design challenges.

The website is a perfect representation of creative storytelling through design. The website background can be easily re-created by using simple Shape Dividers. This feature allows you to add custom shapes and create smooth transitions, easier than in Microsoft Paint.

It is also important to note how this website's home page also serves as a landing page, that both sets the stage and leads visitors to accomplish a goal (in this case — register for the event and purchase tickets).

RE:STUDIO Website made in Visual Composer

RE:STUDIO

RE:STUDIO is a non-profit, that supports a great cause — helping at-risk founders through mentorship, web, brand, and story building, that is solely based on donations. Although their website design is simple, their message is strong, and almost tangible through the screen.

By using simple shadows they make their buttons 'pop' with the Basic Shadow Button element. As well as the content itself, using the simple Box Shadow feature, making it all come together looking effortlessly beautiful.

Let's not also forget that you can always create your own custom elements, using the Visual Composer API documentation to help guide you through.

Alban de Haller Website made in Visual Composer

Alban de Haller

Alban de Haller is a dedicated biography website in tribute to the late architect Alban de Haller. Visitors can browse the gallery to enjoy the artist's work virtually, created with the Simple Image Slider element.

On the same note, integrations of different pieces of art throughout the website's design can be done as easily as adding background images to your rows and columns.

This website is a great example of complying with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, as it has practically zero contrast issues (which is praiseworthy, considering nearly 9 out of 10 sites have contrast issues). Luckily, the Visual Composer Insights - WordPress content analysis tool helps you detect and fix accessibility-related issues on the go.

Nordic Gamekeeper Website made in Visual Composer

Nordic Gamekeeper

Nordic Gamekeeper offers an innovative line of hunting-related goods and services, that contribute to a better nature experience and manage animals to reduce damage to agriculture.

This website showcases a different use of background images (ref. to the previous example), by adding multiple images and using the slideshow effect. Various other background effects, including single image, video, and zoom can help you to make your hero section more vibrant as well.

Nevertheless, it is also important to point out that this website puts to good use one of the most powerful features of Visual Composer - compatibility with all of the top-most WordPress plugins and themes. Upon opening, the website displays a wide variety of purchasable products, thanks to the seamless WooCommerce integration.

Here's To Another Year Of Being Great Together!

Our community has grown exponentially in the past few years. There are so many talented creators who share their love for web creation by helping people launch their presence online every day.

The post Visual Composer Showcase No. 22 appeared first on Visual Composer Website Builder.

]]>

For our 22nd showcase, we have prepared a super special line-up, honoring these unique, and one-of-a-kind websites that are #madeinVC, for a fact.

We expect you to take from this the information and tools you need, to create a showstopper website for yourself or clients. Because we know that you will most definitely feel inspired! 💡

For that being said, we have listed the Visual Composer content elements, templates, and addons used to create these stunners, under each website 🚀

Cad Soft

Cad Soft introduces innovations in dentistry, with software for CAD/ CAM (as in Computer-Aided Design & Manufacturing), guided surgeries, and orthodontics. These AI systems use optical cameras that take 3D images, create digital casts faster, and improve the workflow for dentists & results for patients.

Their website has a lot of next-level designs and animations as well, representing them being up-to-date when it comes to introducing new technologies.

To create this fun page, they have applied the background carousel in their hero section, which livens up the whole site. As for their content, the company uses CSS animations such as Fade In, and Slider to make their displayed products stand out even more.

In addition, the first thing you see upon entry is a stunning popup which is beneficial for conversions, created with the popup editor addon.

Golden Hour Media

This is one of the greater examples of telling a story that inspires visitors who may stumble upon this page. Golden Hour Media is a group of creatives based in the U.S. state of South Carolina. They offer photography and videography services for events, like weddings, brand work, and real estate.

The website complements the aesthetic of the brand they are representing perfectly.

The design options used to create this art piece are - a video background for the opening view and content sliders that elevate the page. For which, if you wish to recreate, the editor offers multiple content elements. Like, the Slider Revolution integration, which helps create beautiful and dynamic sliders.

Plus, stickiness applied to the header section is a great common practice. It ensures that users always have the menu in their reach.

Atlas of the Future

Atlas of the Future is a nonprofit organization founded in Barcelona for a great cause - spreading the word about climate change and finding solutions to create a sustainable future. Each year they invite social pioneers from all over the world, to present their ideas at Fixing the Future.

One of the greater features of the editor is the theme builder with which you can manage the layouts of your pages. Atlas, as per example, has used the header, footer, and sidebar editor to create, save and re-use templates on multiple pages of their website.

Other than that, some fun features that the organization has incorporated throughout their page, are icons. Starting at the top of the page with social media icons that are vital for exposure. And, also continuing further down the page. This is a simple yet great way to draw attention to text by using descriptive symbols.

Mirca Design

This website by the company named Mirca Design is one you will want to scroll through fully! Experience all of the extraordinary parallax effects firsthand.

Specializing in industrial design management, Mirca is a company that creates new products and services for its clients. Based on trend analysis, research, and expertise in the field. They grant to increase the value of the new products with fantastic design strategies.

Although we emphasize that the editor doesn't require coding, if you wish to have some more complex elements, you can use custom CSS, HTML, and JavaScript to create wonders, as this website has.

Another great advantage of the editor is the responsive design. The automatic website adjustments to all devices are magic and this site is an excellent example. Just in case you are wondering, you can also customize responsiveness settings.

Werner Viln

Portfolios are gaining popularity by the day, and in case you didn't know, you can create your own completely for free. This one in particular, by Wener Viln, is breathtaking.

Wener Viln is a digital content creator, senior art director, designer, and illustrator. With more than 15 years of experience in the print & digital content creation industry.

This website itself is super simple, but the content and layout are what make it so beautiful. Best of all, with the editor, you can choose from more than 200 designer-made templates to modify. In this example, the artist has used the post grid element to showcase his best work all in one place.

Another cool thing used on this page is the logo slider element from the Visual Composer Hub. Which lists all the brands the artist has worked with. This is a good feature both design-wise and as a social proof element. In this case, exhibiting achievements and recognition for the artist.

Hey V.A

Hey V.A is a virtual assistant created by Maddie Irving, located in Sydney, Australia. Offering a vast range of long & short-term services to suit the needs of business owners or entrepreneurs. Providing quality and affordable administrative support.

Be sure to check out her blog with advice on how to stay motivated and productive, as well!

Since this is the last website on our list, we would like to accent some elements we haven't yet mentioned. Like, compatibility with WooCommerce, for example, which Maddie uses. As well as the compatibility with Contact Form 7, to make it easier for her clients to reach her at any given time.

As for the next thing, peep the awesome loading screen when you click through Maddie's pages. Making sure you introduce loading screens and icons is a must. That will ensure users don't confuse the site loading for it being broken. Even if it's only a few seconds, it's still crucial. That and other factors that influence website performance can either make your website rank or tank.

And yes, you are probably wondering, how did she create the typing text loop in the hero section? Unfortunately, or fortunately (you decide) you can create that and other custom elements using Visual Composer API.

Ending Thoughts

Creating websites is a form of art that requires a skill-set not many have, but all can learn!

With Visual Composer, you can create websites for yourself or your clients, that they can manage themselves! Fast, easy, and intuitive.

And on that high note, don't forget to tune into our next showcase series! 🤠

The post Top 10 Websites Built With Visual Composer In The Last Decade appeared first on Visual Composer Website Builder.

]]>

It was 10 years ago when the Visual Composer brand was created, and a few years later we launched Visual Composer Website Builder - the next generation of WordPress page builders.

To celebrate our birthday, we are showcasing some of the best websites built with Visual Composer to date! Check out these creative and innovative examples below!

EverGreen

Evergreen is a family-owned business that distributes nutritious, healthy snacks all across the globe. Visitors can overview these labels organized within a simple Logo Slider element from the Visual Composer Hub.

This website shows how you can create a great first impression with high-quality images and catchy effects like bounce and mouse-follow animation.

It is also important to note, that this website has combined the functionality of multiple WordPress plugins with Visual Composer Integrations. Once opened, the website displays a beautiful slider created with the Slider Revolution plugin and fine-tuned with Visual Composer.

BlueSoft

BlueSoft is a software development company that specializes in working with clients’ business technology challenges. They highlight customers’ logos with small round-shape thumbnails (with Visual Composer you can control media’s shape, size, alignment, and more).

BlueSoft uses interactive animations and fade-in effects to create a sense of involvement and a dynamic feel. While adding the fade-in effect to your site can require a bit of coding knowledge, the powerful Design Options allow you to choose and add one of 40+ animation effects with a single click.

Dune & Sky

Dune & Sky is an authentic portfolio of a web designer taking care of everything. They've done a great job with branding their site and creating a very unique look that you won't forget.

In the website, they use basic elements like separators and buttons as well as attention-grabbing background and clean minimalistic sections. They have really created a balance between simplistic layout and eye-catching design.

You can also create a transparent header (just as Dune & Sky did) with the Visual Composer Header Builder that comes within the Theme Builder addon.

Audrey Fotografia

Audrey Fotografia is a photography website, that displays the work of Adrienn. Her website is a great example of what you can achieve with Visual Composer.

An effective feature is the Video Background that is used at the very top of the page. It engages the visitor and it serves as a quick showreel of what's to come.

Other Visual Composer features that are used on this website and are worth mentioning are the header and footer builder and the grid elements that display multiple galleries.

Tilde Johansson

We are so proud to support various types of brands from individual to organization and personal brands. For example, Tilde Johansson, a famous Swedish athlete, chooses Visual Composer to build her engaging and unique portfolio website.

This website uses high-quality images and interactive mouse-follow animations, and that gives a personal feel.

Also, this layout is an example of how well two outstanding web design trends like disordered grid and micro animations can blend with a simple slider block.

White's Mercantile

White's Mercantile is a well-designed all-in-one shopping solution for everything you have ever wanted to buy.

We adore the interesting hand-drawn style of the website and the effort that was put into creating such a beautiful project. The result is fascinating: the easy-to-remember website that stands out from the crowd showing how much the design of a simple site can impact its altogether look.

Martini Time

No Martini – no party! We are excited to see that brands like Martini rely on Visual Composer to support their online presence.

A simple feature with a big impact is the image background type that you can find in the Design Options. Martini Time is using the “Background zoom” effect, but you can also choose an “Image slideshow” as a background or even a video.

CharlieShotMe

CharlieShotMe is a website for accomplished fashion and portrait photographer Charles Rodulfo.

The full width and height of the background image result in a beautiful layout that is easy to make using the row settings. More about the background – the colors of the images and background are perfectly coherent.

Norra Hamnen 5

This is a website for a restaurant “Norra Hamnen 5”, a restaurant in Sweden that offers a beautiful view as well as local produce.

This website is making good use of the Google Headings element (it has all Google Fonts available) mixed with some more uncommon elements like Multiple Image Collage and Simple Call To Action. All these elements combined make it easy to locate the focus points of the site. Those are also amplified by using CSS animations.

Despite the site being made using a regular grid, it looks a little distorted and that’s a very popular design component at the moment.

An element that is conveniently used in this layout is the Feature Section. It’s not only a very quickly customizable block, it also takes care of responsiveness for you.

EnjoyHQ

EnjoyHQ is a user research platform based on providing extensive data analysis to centralize all research data and discover insights faster.

The combination of basic Visual Composer Website Builder elements and Custom CSS to style them additionally is a powerful way how to build a clean and unique design.

A good practice is to include customer reviews, and there's an element in Visual Composer that does just that, the Star Ranking element, that they've used at the very top of the site.

Many More Years to Come

These have been our favorite websites that show just how far we've come together as a community. And if you're new to Visual Composer, or just looking for something fresh - take a look at these beautiful websites that will boost your inspiration for creating your own awesome site!

Each element of the page reflects the uniqueness of this personal brand and the value it provides. This portfolio is also a great example of how a persuasive message can be delivered via website design.

From basic elements like separators and buttons to an attention-grabbing background and clean minimalistic sections. The balance between customization and fundamental key components is what connects the audience with the artist from the very beginning.

Did you know: You can also create a transparent header (just as Dune & Sky did) with a Visual Composer Header Builder that comes within a Theme Builder addon.

Finchmoney website example

Finch

It seems that each element of the company’s website is living its own life. Take these loop animation videos, one-of-a-kind mouse cursor, and custom scroll. Just spend a little time playing around with the design of the homepage to see them in action. You can literary click anywhere to trigger some kind of animation.

Yes, animations are great for improving conversion rates and increasing average time on page.

But if you are using animations, be careful while making any changes: sometimes this can lead to slow page load times and responsiveness issues. Plus, it’s important to keep a code clean (if you are using one to animate content).

Did you know: Among all benefits when creating your site with Premium, you can also access the Global Template addon. This feature allows you to make global changes to your layout without having to manually edit particular sections.

Karntnerland website example

Haus Kärntnerland

Haus Kärntnerland is a small, family-owned bed and breakfast place located in a cozy Alpic village. They have a simple site highlighting the most important information for clients first. Namely, they are using a powerful combo of Visual Composer and Slider Revolution integration to liven up the layout from the very top of the page.

But the slideshow created is not the only thing that gathers attention here. Haus Kärntnerland uses the Basic Button content element to personalize the design by simply customizing borders. It’s a great little twist to add a personal touch to a static page.

Did you know: A GDPR compliant cookie popup, like the one at the very bottom of the Haus Kärntnerland page, can be also created with Visual Composer Popup Builder.

Future Productions website example

Future Productions

The company is yet another example of a design that speaks louder than words and conveys the message in a better way. Future Productions believe in visualization because this is what they do on a daily basis as a video production company.

To illustrate the purpose of the company, Future Productions are using the YouTube Video Player element embed in their page. Also, they are taking advantage of the column Design Options. They set a video as a background and complement it with different custom hover effects.

Did you know: The best approach for adding a depth illusion to your video background is to combine it with a parallax effect (for Premium users, there are more than 8 parallax effects available).

Tavoloapolidia website example

Tavolo Apolidia

Tavolo Apodidia is a network of civil society organizations engaged in the protection of stateless persons in Italy. They fight for equal fundamental rights for people who are not considered national. They also provide protection, coordinate advocacy activities, and more.

This network wants to be heard - and nothing can help here better than their chosen content elements. Like testimonial block to a large Google Fonts Heading to grab visitors’ attention. Or Post Grid container to display news and embedded Twitter posts to represent the importance of the problem. Every aspect of this design clearly states the following: this is an issue that needs to be solved.

Did you know: Starting from scratch sometimes can take a lot of time, money, and energy, but using pre-made WordPress templates can be a solution. Especially, if they are already designed for a specific industry’s needs in mind.

Cloud Five website example

Cloud Five

We are always passionate about including some food industry sites in our monthly showcase. In April, this is a Cloud Five breakfast cafe website.

This is a classic illustration of a minimalistic (and yummy) layout consisting of high-quality images, a lot of white space, and logically divided sections. But apart from appealing visuals and powerful custom solutions, Cloud Five is also using must-have attributes for every restaurant, cafe, or bar. For example, a sticky header (which is also one of the custom header best practices) to make content more accessible or a Pricing Table content element to display prices in a transparent way.

Did you know: Visual Composer Hub consists of more than 500 content elements, predesigned templates, addons, and integrations for every industry (from beauty to retail business and more).

It's Not a Goodbye, It's a See You Later

We hope some of the websites included in this showcase have created a “wow” effect for you while scrolling. And, what’s most important, have ensured you building your professional website starting from now.

As always, see you in the next showcase - it's not a goodbye, it's a see you later 😉

It’s the very beginning of spring outside which means the new season is just around the corner. And so do fresh ideas and inspiration. Each and every Visual Composer showcase is intended to make you feel that way. #madeinvc

But this one is a worth-reading knowledge-packed piece containing the best practices on how to utilize the most popular features of the plugin for a specific industry.

The Pinnacle Group for Visual Composer Showcase: March 2021

The Pinnacle Group

The Pinnacle Group is a “forward-thinking” company, that offers creative solutions for people in the financial services industry. They are committed to providing the most innovative ways to transform their clients’ businesses, alongside enhancing their products and elevating their brand.

They have mastered their craft so well that they have been named one of the 101 highest-scoring companies of the “Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation” by The National Association for Business Resources.

Their website is also well-crafted, by integrating a slider element by Slider Revolution on their home page. This is one of the many compatibility elements that are available in the Visual Composer Hub.

On that same page, they also use an image slider to showcase their team members, alongside a static text that represents their core values.

BlueSoft website

BlueSoft

BlueSoft is a custom software development company tackling clients’ business technical challenges with the help of the latest technologies. They deliver unique products optimized for the needs of a particular industry from insurance to finance.

In addition, BlueSoft proudly highlights customers’ logos via small round-shape thumbnails (with Visual Composer you can control media’s shape, size, alignment, and more).

BlueSoft also emphasizes this individual approach throughout the site’s design. Interactive animations and fade-in effects create a sense of involvement, balance textual content, and stimulate a smooth procession of information.

While adding the fade-in effect to your site can require a bit of coding knowledge, powerful Design Options allow you to choose and add one of 40+ animation effects with a single click.

Twyst website

Twyst

Twyst is a public relations agency delivering the vision, mission, and values of the company within a simple yet colorful website design. When a visitor launches the homepage, there are multiple components that immediately catch attention.

Like colorful symbols with a zoom effect and a large persuasive Google Fonts Heading (Visual Composer has integrated a full Google Fonts library) element.

To create a great copy as Twyst has (and make text adjustments more convenient), you can use Visual Composer Inline Editor - a feature that makes text adjustments more convenient by allowing you to change it with a double-click.

Pinnacle website

Pinnacle Consulting

The website of Pinnacle Consulting advertising agency creates a minimalistic and creative online presence that attracts at first glance. But details like animated heading or opacity applied to texts work well to displays the agency’s authenticity.

But apart from its original appearance, Pinnacle follows another crucial requirement for a digital agency - their website is 100% mobile-friendly. Because responsive design can help potential clients to explore the work of the agency, gain trust and make decisions, it is essential to have one, especially for creative service providers.

However, to conquer this niche, agencies should think deeper while designing a website. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a top factor to win Google algorithms and therefore gain more traffic and opportunities to convert. A great free tool to consider using when it comes to creating SEO-friendly content is a built-in Insights content analysis tool

Pozyx website

Pozyx

Based in Belgium, Pozyx develops both hardware and software solutions to provide accurate positioning and motion of information for various challenging environments.

Because the specific of the industry is quite difficult to figure out at first, the company supports its message by using various interactive elements. For example, a Video Popup element triggered by clicking on the button above the fold and custom graphics works well to grab attention and provide a glimpse of what the company is dealing with.

Ovenaankomeraan website

Oven Aan, Kom Eraan

This is an online food ordering company based in a small city in the south of the Netherlands. While so many restaurants, pubs, and cafes are still closed, the food delivery industry is full of opportunities. However, to grab the share of this market, you need a feature-rich website, like Oven Aan, Kom Eraan has.

For example, you can start by considering taking advantage of Visual Composer and WooCommerce integration to create your store for online grocery or delivery. With all the basic pages (catalog, single product, shopping cart, and checkout) defined and a touch of customization, it is so easy as it sounds! 🙂

We Are Ready To Share Your Story. Are You?

Above we’ve highlighted some works from different business industries to give you a little boost of inspiration and encouragement.

But we are always thriving for new examples for upcoming showcases because our team believes your story is worth sharing. The only question is - do you?

No month can be better to celebrate admiration than February. And romantic love isn't the only type of love to honor this month.

Instead, you can praise your feelings towards the art you create and the passions you have. That’s why let this Visual Composer showcase be all about people and brands who create and inspire (and about their websites, of course). #madeinvc

Ann Gior website

Ann Gior

Ann is an international beauty expert and hair makeup artist based in New York City. As a woman in business, she empowers female leadership and breaks down gender-based stereotypes and norms.

But before any visitor gets to know a little more Ann, her out-of-the-box revolutionary thinking reveals throughout the design of her website.

A classic row layout combined with the color palette of high contrast creates wild and dynamic energy. Whereas the lightbox effect (displaying images in a fullscreen mode) builds a balance by drawing attention to professionally designed graphics.

Love Life Clothing website

Love Life Clothing

The popularity of minimalism in web design has risen enormously since the last decade. Minimalistic pages result in faster loading time and a friendlier user experience, especially if you are taking advantage of built-in auto responsiveness.

To prove that “less is more”, the Love Life Clothing brand only has a bunch of high-quality images and a motto displayed to site visitors. “It's all about loving what you do and doing what you love,” states the company. And there is nothing to disagree with 🙂

Modern Homes Photography website

Modern Homes Photography

Even a simple page can be what you remember at the end of the day.

Modern Homes use a Simple Slider element from the Visual Composer Hub to showcase their works and emphasize the power of visuals that can speak louder than words. Dots and swipe option provide visitors with the ability to control the appearance of the content and to take time to “feel the vibe”.

NordicGrow website

NordicGrow

This is not just a website, this is a complete story of many people’s dreams, values, and hard work put together to produce a meaningful end-result.

NordicGrow is a Copenhagen-based company creating little indoor wood gardens for plants. As an environment-friendly company, they encourage everyone to grow their herbs, support local production, and reduce wastes. But NordicGrow also inspires by the design and typography of their website.

The power of Google Fonts library (fully integrated within Visual Composer) fine-tunes every piece of written content while layout sections divide the information into logical pieces.

Morena Roas website

Morena Roas

Morena is a rising singer-songwriter. She is an inspirational example of female power, strong character, and authentic taste (yes, her website shows it all).

Just like Morena did, you can embed any self-hosted, YouTube, or Vimeo video everywhere in your content or even set it as a background. The best part about videos: they not only help to raise the time people spend on your page, but they also boost the SEO ranking of the website.

The design consists of yet another component that can increase engagement for SEO success. Animated text block is a great way to make the site more interactive therefore more interesting to visitors.

Envirovue website

Envirovue

Envirovue is a value-focused waste management solution caring about environmental sustainability and cost-effectiveness at the same time.

They believe in core principles that shape organizational culture, daily processes, and therefore impact long-term success. And they are great at clearly and creatively sharing Envirovue brand values through the website’s design and content.

Because transparency in business is the new gold standard, the best practice is to turn every piece of your page into a breaking point so you can drive customers’ decisions by it.

For this purpose, you can not only highlight your company’s values accompanied by icons from various libraries but also include testimonials, social widgets, and Star Ranking element from the Visual Composer Hub.

They Believed They Could So They Did. Your Turn.

These (and many more) websites made in Visual Composer empowers and motivates us to do what we do - to deliver new features and constantly work on plugin improvements. We hope you feel the same way.

Now it’s your turn to act - create your beautiful WordPress website and we’ll see each other again in the next Visual Composer showcase.

The first months of the year are what bring us renewed pursuits to reach our fullest human potential.

Also, the new year is a wonderful chance to start fresh, gain new perspectives, invent new routines, and/or keep continuing old traditions. That’s why we are back again with yet another showcase of beautiful websites made by Visual Composer users - thank you for being with us! ????

Let’s make the most of the year 2021 and get inspired together. #madeinvc

EverGreen website

EverGreen

Why not no start this year with a cleanse?

Evergreen is a family-owned business that distributes nutritious, healthy, and vegan-friendly (yum!) snacks all across the globe. Visitors can overview these labels organized within a simple (yet powerful) Logo Slider element from the Visual Composer Hub.

Their website is a great representation of how to create a killer first impression with high-quality images and catchy effects like bounce and mouse-follow animation.

Also, it is an inspirational example of what the end result can look like if you are up to combine the functionality of multiple WordPress plugins. Once opened, the website displays an eye-catching slider created with the Slider Revolution plugin and fine-tuned with the Visual Composer. Voilà!

EDHack website

EDHack

EDHack is a space to generate ideas for overcoming educational challenges. Based in Spain, this community is created to improve the education system and spread feminism, sustainability, and lifelong learning within schools.

This website is all about the biggest power of content elements and web design trends.

When applied right (and smart), they can speak for the company’s values, mission, and vision. While there are multiple options to do so, EDHack applies a live-action video background, sticky header, and a stretched (full width and height) content to bridge the gaps between the company and the site’s visitors.

El Sarape website

El Sarape

You may not be hungry, but not after you have visited the website of the El Sarape restaurant chain.

The whole site gives off a feeling of the American West and lets visitors travel without even leaving the room.

The old film overlay style background video, chosen country-style font family, and a simple parallax effect create a sense of belonging to a Mexican authenticity, adventure, and freedom.

Michael Temple website

Michael Temple

This is a portfolio website of a modern and experienced product designer. Plus, a fascinating creative case of introducing oneself in the 2020s.

To impress in a world full of high competition, this website applies probably the most important details like persuasive storytelling, one-of-a-kind design, and custom solutions.

The design of this creative portfolio goes outside the standard layouts - it combines a row and column layout with an asymmetrical one to create a wow effect and tell a complete story.

Joker Music website

Joker Music

Joker Music is the portfolio site of a musician and producer DJ Joker from Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Like every piece in this collection, this website is more about the feeling it creates. Blinding lights, party music to get people going, positive vibes - the atmosphere you scent while visiting it.

But this website is also about the story it tells through visuals.

For example, the background zoom effect (a powerful visual storytelling technique) sets the desired mood. But image gallery and videos (Image Gallery and Video Player elements from the Visual Composer Hub) introduce visitors to DJ Joker and his works.

Marston Park website

Marston Park

Marston Park is a cozy place to stay while being surrounded by beautiful views and nature. Located on the lake edge in Somerset, England it is a great place to inspire creativity, chill out, and enjoy sunsets.

This website is not only a complete guide on the amenities of the location but also an entire story told primarily using quality visuals. Just as the basic plot of the book consists of events series, this storyline includes a sequence of images.

To connect those in a story and divide it into “chapters”, the company applies an animated fade-in down effect and a Separator content element from the Visual Composer Hub to the website design.

To Be Continued

Within this showcase, we have traveled across the globe, tasted Mexican cuisine, and listened to various inspirational stories. Yes, the design of your site can do this - and more.

As there is no formula for success. But John Maxwell once said: “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.”

So, be a leader. And inspire others with your way, just as the websites above. Happy creation! ????

The time has come for the new Visual Composer showcase. This means that the collection of beautiful websites made with the best WordPress drag and drop editor is finally here. #madeinvc

This monthly selection of websites we (the Visual Composer team) love is an example of branding consistency, and a combination of plugin’s most powerful features with custom elements. Plus, this is a great chance for you to get inspiration from those who have already made it.

So, sit back, make yourself a cup of hot tea or coffee (it’s autumn, by the way), and enjoy! ☕

Axxo Studio

Axxo

Axxo Studio offers a package of wide branding, web design, and eCommerce services from WordPress theme setup to marketing strategy development. The company states that a long-lasting emotional connection is the cornerstone of a B2C business.

As likewise as the persuasive content, the design of the website also highlights this corporate value. A light color palette, well-organized sections, and a balance between textual information and visuals create a positive user experience and build trust.

Moreover, a video in the background reduces overstimulation. Yet, at the same time, it engages and creates an uninterrupted flow.

You can replicate this approach by setting a video as a background type in the Visual Composer Design options. To reduce performance issues, follow the guide on responsive web design to make your background look good across all devices.

Tilde Johansson portfolio

Tilde Johansson

We are so proud to support various types of brands from individual to organization and personal brands. For example, Tilde Johansson, a famous Swedish athlete, chooses Visual Composer to build her engaging and unique portfolio website.

To give her website a personal touch, Tilde is using multiple plugin’s features to counteract the technical look of the website. In other words, she makes the website less technical by using high-quality images. This clearly represents that there is a real person behind.

Also, this layout is an example of how well two outstanding web design trends like disordered grid and micro animations can blend together with a simple slider block.

TADA Ventures digital marketing agency

TADA Ventures

TADA Ventures is a danish-based digital marketing agency that specializes in content marketing, SEO optimization, and social media strategy development.

This is the true example of an image (visual representation of the company) that speaks louder than words. Because you may not speak danish in order to evaluate the credibility of the company - the website design speaks on its own.

But full-height authentic sections represent the basic information about the company, therefore, grabbing the attention from the first sight.

Back In Form company

Back In Form

Back In Form is a sports and massage clinic helping people to get rid of muscular pain. They concentrate on the chiropractic alternative medicine approach for treating mechanical disorders.

The website of the company is fully aligned with the branding consistency pattern - from authentic shapes on the sides to independently designed sections, like a sticky menu. This is a great way to highlight the most important information.

To create a sticky section just like that, enable stickiness toggle available within an element Edit window.

Also, the chosen color scheme influences users in the best possible way. According to color psychology, green is a great choice for health-related websites because of its calming effects.

Deaf Minds Education

Deaf Minds Education

Deaf Minds Education is a platform offering courses to support the school and college deaf community of both staff and students. They empower youngsters and adults to solve mental health and wellbeing issues to ensure the future of equal rights for everyone.

The site of the company illustrates brand guidelines for both corporate style and values. But one of the most popular design trends, the disordered grid, helps to highlight the most important information for those who are looking for it.

Birdsong company

Birdsong

In 1996 Microsoft CEO Bill Gates wrote that content is king. And nothing has changed nearly two decades later.

The website of the Birdsonglife company is all about the content. At first glance, it looks like there is much more textual content that needs to be for preventing users from frustration. However, once you start creating your website from scratch or go for a pre-defined WordPress template, the acknowledgment of your target audience is crucial.

For this website, lots of text is one of the niche-specific requirements, because the primary users of the website are seniors. Because a detailed explanation is what makes effective communication with elderly people possible.

To Be Continued

Long story short, this is all we have for the Visual Composer October showcase. Make sure to leave the comment below if you have one. ????
